Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale, an American basketball player for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She played basketball in college for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings selected her as the fifth pick of the 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale's parents Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2nd, 1997 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years) as well as Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her brothers older than her. The parents of her were the ones who spoilt her most due to her being the most young. Gregory Ogunbowale, her father was serving in the Nigerian Army quite a while. Ogunbowale comes from an active lineage of family members. Her brother Dare is a player in the NFL and her mother Yolanda used to play softball at DePaul. As a student at the school, she also participated in three years of varsity football. Her skills helped her win some stunning victories at her school. Her high school experience comprised 73 plays and 1,477 points in her career and 739 career rebound. Ogunbowale won gold medals in the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and 2014. FIBA U17 World Championship, and the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. This year's USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team was announced on the 7th July 2014. Ogunbowale was also named to the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first collegiate season. Kobe Bryant himself congratulated Ogunbowale following his NCCA Tournament big shot. Ogunbowale is a relative newcomer to the game of basketball, has made herself a household name. She will surely keep on going throughout her professional career. Arike Ogunbowale is said to have a net worth of $5 million as per an unnamed source. Ogunbowale's talents are not limited to basketball. She plays soccer too and has even had three State Cup championships for the Lake County United Soccer Club and one State cup championship as a member of FC Milwaukee Soccer Club.
