Elizabeth Andrea Bitsie Tulloch, born on January 19, 1981 is an American actress. She is best known for her character as Eve/Juliette Silverton in the NBC television series Grimm. Tulloch was born in Spain Uruguay Argentina and San Diego California. Tulloch is known as Bitsie. This isn't an abbreviation of her name, Elizabeth. In fact, it's in honor of her strangely known as her grandfather. He was a World War II pilot and also involved with 1961 Goldsboro B-5 crash. Tulloch was first known as Bitsie, and remained in that role until 2017. In 2017, she chose to change her name back to Elizabeth. I still introduce myself by the name of Bitsie to people I meet. The name worked for me as I started acting during my early 20s. Currently, im in my late 30s. I thought it would be an excellent idea to go back in time and recreate Elizabeth. When I did a film it was a thought that never thought of it. The producer said Hey we noticed its Elizabeth as we filled in your legal documents. You want to bill this way? After having thought about it I discussed it with my manager and agent. They said that was a great concept. Age has shifted. Bitsie, on contrary is a sweet and adorable name. It's adorable. This is all that was said. Elizabeth is not my name now. The name is only for billing purposes going forward. Tulloch is of Scottish as well as Spanish descendance. Tulloch has stated her first language was Spanish although she no longer believes she is fluent in Spanish. Her family's origins were originally from Kirkwall and her maternal grandparents were came from Renfrewshire. In an article published by BBC News, she stated that she believes the Tullochs first arrived in the US around 1880. They and the Kerrs came at the beginning of the century. The school she attended was middle and highschool in Bedford, New York, after her return to the U.S. Tulloch received a magnacum laude diploma in Harvard University in English and American Literature and a Double major in Visual and Environmental Studies.
