Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies generally in the martial arts or horror genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and an obsession with these films. The reviewer began her journey around the middle of 2009, after she was well-known in their forum. (Under her former handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be a part of Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. She remained on the site until mid-2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts on her channel, both of which focus on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. See her videos on YouTube and Vimeo. Also available on Tumblr along with Twitter. Are you bored of Allison? You can see her kicking her thighs in the role of Interpol Ninja Cheetah Lee on Ninja the Mission Force. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also starred her. She's also appeared on Brad Jones's series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing terrible children's films as well as RiffTrax Live Shows, as well as occasional adult comedy (such as Baywatch 2017). In late 2009 she began to review movies, which gained her acclaim on Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the family of network movie critics. She's been featured on many Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as and Phelous & the Movies. She was once a member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and would often appear on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
